If you do the entire trail from trail head to Elanor Rigby you will expierance alot of ups and downs for a total of just under 1-1/2miles one way and 2 or 3 stream crossings that will only be wet during or right after storms that have lasted a few days. There is one major ridge between here and Elanor rigby at about the half way point with about 300-400 foot of elevation gain. So you get to climb in and climb out.
