Geocache Description:

Legend has it that the famous Pirate Queen Granuaile O' Malley demolished Renvyle Castle with a canonball from her ship in the 16th Century. The castle ruins can be seen from the geocache location, the geocache is not located in or around the castle as the ruins are not assesible for safety reasons. The Geocache is located on the famous Wild Atlantic Way.
