Last month, as I was learning to learn to use the geocaching app, I headed for Cockaponset with the hope of avenging two DNFs. Headed off on the yellow trail past the dam & found the first one! I'd say third time was the charm, but I think it was at least my fourth try ;-) Started heading toward the second and...shriek!...a snake crossed my path! I decided that event needed some sort of recognition, so here is a geocache in its honor. If and when it is approved, I shall post photos of my approximate location at the time and of the snake!
Tha cache is not at that location, but the photo may help you find it... It's a beverage size camo'd lock&lock, currently full of small snakes and an unactivated trackable for the first finder. I do plan to return once the cache goes live to add its number and waypoint. There was a bit of bounce--I took an average, but I'm eager to get feedback on its accuracy. This is only my second solo cache placed--please be gentle!
