Geocache Description:

Ewing Pond Park is located along the Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail near the heart of Grasonville, Maryland. It was once known as the Grasonville Pond Park, but in 2008, it was dedicated in memory of Thomas R. Ewing, from whom the county bought the property in 1993. A plaque has been erected at the park commemorating the dedication. It is one of several parks which are maintained by Queen Anne’s County.

The park has a lovely walking trail, a sizeable freshwater pond, a very nice pier, and wonderful shoreline access to cast for bass, pickerel and crappies. It is also home to a cute gazebo!

You are welcome to park in the small public parking area and take a walk, do some bird watching, or just sit on a bench on the pier and enjoy the beautiful view.

Please observe park rules and have fun!

Please sign the log and replace as found.  Thank you.
