Grammatiko is a small village 5km north of Marathon. It has a population of around 2000 people and has a delightful central square surrounded by small tavernas, making the village an excellent place to visit for lunch and, of course, to find this small magnetic nanocache.
Grammatiko can be reached by driving (or, better still, cycling) the winding road from Marathon as it climbs 200 metres above sea level into the hills with plenty of lovely views along the way. After finding the cache, you can continue a few kilometres north to the excellent beaches at Varvara.
