OST Challenge Series
When I first began geocaching in 2016, I set out to find all different types of caches wherever I could find them. I loved the variety of it and the places they brought me to. That eventually led me to discovering challenge caches. The only problem was that I did not qualify for most of the challenges. I either had to have way more finds, solve more puzzles or visited a lot more locations than I had. This mini-challenge series is meant to offer challenges that can be completed by cachers of any level and will hopefully give you incentive to find some caches that you had not thought of going after or get you out a little more often than you have been.
OST - Haunted Holiday Challenge
To log this challenge cache you have to find a physical cache (traditional, multicache, wherigo, letterbox hybrid or mystery) on each of the following dates:
- New Year's Day - January 1st
- Valentine's Day - February 14th
- St. Patrick's Day - March 17th
- April Fools Day - April 1st
- US Independence Day - July 4th
- Halloween - October 31st (namesake of cache)
- Christmas - December 25th
- New Year's Eve - December 31st
The hope is that this cache will get you out caching on days when you may not normally cache. You only have to find 8 caches, shouldn't be too hard, right? The final cache is a bit different from the others in this series, and the name will make sense when you find it. Enjoy
