My children and I parked at the Seal Cove boat launch and walked along the T'Railway towards the thermal plant. It was a beautiful day for a walk, 30 plus degrees out, and there was a very nice breeze down by the ocean. I sometimes run along this trail. It offers lovely views. Sometimes whales breach the water surface. Today there were many recreational fishers catching groundfish. On the way back from hiding the cache the children watched a man fillet a codfish. We brought Pepper with us, a dog that we are sitting.
The geocache is under a large boulder where brackish water sits right near the thermal plant. A few cobbles are stacked cairn-like against the side of the rock to better hide the cache. The cache is a blue, plastic container. We included a marble and Minecraft Lego figure, which my children would like to trade for another marble and Minecraft Lego figure. Otherwise, enjoy the walk. Just be careful walking along the T'Railway where the cobbles might be hard on your ankles.
