This is one of nine Messages in a Bottle caches on the Madera Wine Trail. The hides start in the southern part of Madera County close to Highway 99 and go north along the Highway 99 corridor to just north of Madera as well as to the northeast of Madera along Highway 41 all the way to Oakhurst. Each cache will give information about this historical American Viticulture Area.
In recent years new wineries have joined the established wineries and are also producing premium wines. The upsurge in production has been attributed to recognition of Madera County as a unique wine region.
All caches are available 24/7 and have adequate parking off the roadway.
