This cache is the succesor of Giali beach geocache. Unfortunately the cache was swept away from the sea during autumn and winter months due to the tide. Therefore a new cache was placed on the path towards the beach and being more than 161m away from the original a new geocache entry had to be made
Giali is a secluded and beautiful beach near Giannades village.
Distance to beach from indicated path is 900m approximately. The biggest part is easy to walk. However, on the last section of the path you have to climb down the cliff to reach the beach. Locals have added ropes and ladders to make the descent easier. Be extra careful and please wear shoes. Flip flops are not recommended.
For the less adventurous the beach can be reached by boat from the nearby beaches such as Glyfada, Ermones etc.
Cache is plastic pill bottle with a logbook. Bring a pen.
