Birthday Celebrations - Pick a number? Event Cache

There a couple of  geocachers in West Wales with birthday's this month, and as I had been promising for a while to host an event, I thought it would be a good excuse for a get together.  The event is being hosted at the Wanders Rest Inn, in Llanteg, the Inn is opening espicailly for this event, so most people at the event should be geocachers.  I will be wearing my 60's top, which is very colourful ! so I should stand out ! free free to dress up as well if you wish!  Hopfully we will have some birthday cake to share on the night.

Date – Tuesday 18th September 2018

Time – 7.30 – 9.30 p.m.

The pub does a selection of bar meals – Please log your intentions as with other events of this kind, and let me know how many people will be attending and whether you will be eating or not.  Menu to be added later.  There is also plenty of free parking available at the rear of the Inn.   

This event is being held so fellow cachers can meet up, and put a face to some of the names that you have seen on the logs. It is also a chance to show geocoins and trackables that are too precious to send out travelling, please feel free to bring them to just show off.

If you are new to geocaching and not been to an event before, don’t be put off  we are a friendly group  You can ask others any questions, that you may have, also hopefully meet some of the locals who have caches in the area. You are welcome to attend this event , even if you have not been geocaching before, and you want to find out about the hobby.  PS If you are new to our hobby, and want to find some easy geocaches, I have got a few placed nearby.  I will have a log book available to sign, and will be floating around the event and hopefully answer any queries you may have.
