In Columbia Falls, the main street is pretty typical of small towns, but just off the main drag are some very scenic back roads. Once on any of them, you instantly feel like you're off in the great outdoors enjoying the scenery, the beautiful trees, the untamed wilderness. Take a drive up Tamarack Lane and look around. It's getting noticed and more and more homes are going in, but if you hold still for a few minutes, you could easily see deer, squirrels, rabbits and if you're lucky, even a bear. We did!
