Fudgy Fest celebrates my favourite cacher: el_fudgeeo!
El_fudgeeo started this as a way to give back to the caching community for all the caches that have been hidden in and around Saskatoon. So thanks - even for the ones I can't find. These caches get published on one special day of the year - can you guess what makes it special?
With the eldest son starting to drive, we thought it was time to pick up a new car so that we did not have to share use of a 20 something year old car. So we started looking around for something more modern. Something fuel efficient. Something with a roomy interior and trunk space. Something with a manual transmission. Boy that manual transmission sure takes a lot of vehicles out of contention. We looked at a Prius. I thought it was nice, but the wife did not like it. We looked at a Volvo, and we both liked it, but the price tag was a bit too steep. We avoided Porsche, Audi and Mercedez-Benz. But when we looked at VW, they had some good choices. We could get a Jetta or a Passat. Both manual. But the Passat was larger so we got that. I think its my first car with Air Conditioning. Pretty Fancy! It too was brand new, but the old model year - 2014 - so it was a pretty good deal.
