Yes, the name is odd for the location. The name involves a series of mishaps at a Sittin Round Talking Cache Event that happened years ago. Attending a recent SRTC stirred up conversation between a fellow cacher and myself about visiting a new venue for an event which we were experiencing that night. No night caching aloud.
So years ago at a nameless venue, it happened to be a religous holiday. I attended knowing this and figured I would not be the only one there following this religous holiday. Anyway, I was seated alongside a fellow cacher and started going through the menu. Well, not many menu choices... They just have to have a grilled cheese. It`s a full service place.... Well, the owner/chef came up for my order and I asked for a grilled cheese. He shook his finger at me and said, "no grilled cheese, only for lunch, you order a dinner". I explained all I wanted was a grilled cheese because I was observing a religous holiday.. again" no grilled cheese, you order dinner" he said in a thick foreign accent. I thought it was quite comical because the cacher next to me wanted the same thing. She decided to not order at all and just have coffee instead. So I asked again and the same reply... No grilled cheese. Coming from work I was hungry so I ordered a salad and bread. After eating and conversing it was time to leave. In doing so, I looked over at a table of young parents with a toddler. sure enough, that toddler was eating a grilled cheese sandwich.... I shook my head and told the cacher next to me.... "Well, no grilled cheese for you!!!!" in my best comical foreign accent....
