An oasis of calm within the urban sprawl.
Situated within Bailliol Business Park, there is this wonderful area of peace and quiet. It's a good place to come if you want a change of scenery from the working enviroment.
Sometimes rabbits can be seen hopping about when they think no-one is there.
With office buildings overlooking on both sides through the trees, there is a winding path with areas of shallow wetland along side it. Although these places are grown over with long grasses and have little to no standing water in during the summer months, care should still be taken after heavy rain and in the winter if you have small children with you. Please do not go into these places. We want these areas left as they are for the enjoyment of everyone.
If you are coming by car, be aware that there are double yellow lines on all the main roads around the cache location. During business hours the surrounding roads will be filled with cars and muggles so it may be better to come outside office hours.
Nearby there is a road linking Gosforth Business Park to Balliol Business Park. Take note - THIS IS FOR BUSES, TAXIS AND CYCLISTS/PEDESTRIANS ONLY. THERE ARE CAMERAS!! IF YOU DON'T WANT A TICKET, DON'T DRIVE YOUR CAR ALONG THIS ROAD!!
This is Mrs Spilks favourite route home after work and we hope you like it as well.
During office hours this could be a high muggle area so stealth is required. This is also a regular bus route for the 62 to and from Newcastle.
Although the main path is wheelchair accessible, help will still be needed for the cache retrieval.
The cache is small and camoed . You might need some tweezers to remove the log. Please remember to BRING YOUR PEN.
