Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Howard County Soccer Series at Western Regional Park

I'm a soccer mom, through and through. I play soccer, my kids play soccer and for many years I spent every weekend and all weekend at soccer fields up and down this part of the east coast, especially when one of my sons was playing premier level soccer. I know that soccer parents have to get their players to the fields up to an hour early for warm-ups and such. I used to spend that hour either walking, jogging, talking with the other parents, entertaining younger siblings or if it was really cold, sitting in the car reading a book. I wish I was geocaching during that time, because I visited lots of parks in many different states and would have loved to spent that time grabbing caches also.

This is a very simple puzzle and soccer fans should easily guess the name of this player.

I love watching the US National Teams play and rooting for the USA.

One of my favorite US players to watch is a very skilled midfielder who loves to nutmeg other players and has amazing dribbling skills. This player currently plays professionally for the Portland Thorns and the United States National soccer team since 2008. This colorful player is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and also a FIFA World Cup winner and finalist with the United States National soccer team and also a two-time NWSL Champion with the Portland Thorns. Has even been described as "perhaps the USA's most skillful player" by the United States Soccer Federation and was voted the U.S. Soccer Athlete of the Year in 2016. In college this player helped lead the University of North Carolina (UNC) to NCAA Division I Championship titles in 2006, 2008 and 2009 and four straight Atlantic Coast Conference titles. The UNC head soccer coach once stated that this midfielder preferred to nutmeg opposing players rather than dribble the ball around them.

What is this player's name?

A = Number of letters in the player's professional first name;

B = Number of letters in the player's professional last name

C = A - 2

D = A + C

E = B + 2

F = D/2

G = B + F

Final coordinates: N 39 18.ACD W 77 01.EFG

Checksum: A + B + C = 13

Cache can hold small trackables and small trade items
