Baltimore’s 18 new welcome signs, that now stand at 18 city entrances, have been two years in the making.
The orange signs that stand 15 feet tall spell “Baltimore” and cost the city $270,000.
Former mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake launched the project three years ago with hopes of sprucing up the entrances to the city and making the city’s welcome signs consistent.
Enjoy the sprucing up.
