Geocache Description:

The Concorde is a British-French turbojet-powered supersonic passenger airliner that was operated from 1976-2003. It had a max speed over twice the speed of sound at Mach 2.04 with seating for 92-128 passengers. While subsonic commercial jets took eight hours to fly from New York to Paris, the average supersonic flight time on the transatlantic routes was just under 3.5 hours. Concorde had a maximum cruise altitude of 18,300 metres (60,039 ft) and an average cruise speed of Mach 2.02, about 1155 knots (2140 km/h or 1334 mph), more than twice the speed of conventional aircraft. Only 20 of the sleek, delta-winged SST’s were built and just 14 were delivered to two airlines - seven each to Air France and British Airways.

The History of Flight cache series contains micro or small cache containers that are hidden in high muggle areas. Each container contains log only so be sure and take your pen/pencil with you and use stealth when necessary. If you find the log is almost full, feel free to replace it or let us know so we can bring a new one out.

***CONGRATULATIONS TO Super_Nate & Called2Care FOR CO-FTF***
