The Puzzles
I've always loved Father Ted - it's witty and clever, (far better than anything that's around at the moment in my humble opinion) and was just plain funny! But having been to Ireland for a bit recently I found myself in many of the areas that it was filmed (we even went past the parochial house) which made me wonder how I could incorporate it into a caching series.
So here goes.
Although I'm starting off with the first series first of all, this will be a series of 25 straightforward puzzle caches, one for each episode, including the Christmas special, where you need to answer some questions about that particular episode to get the answers for the co-ordinates of the actual cache - nice and simple. Not even a bonus to think about. I was going to have 6 questions for each one but that would have meant you would have had to answer 150 questions which I though was a bit excessive so there are only two questions for each and all the answers come from them! Although I suspect it will still take a while to gather all of that info!
The Caches and the Route
The caches themselves shouldn't be too hard as the point is having fun finding the answers (and perhaps watching a bit of Father Ted on the way to brighten your day) 
The whole route, assuming you do it all in one go, is about 6 miles or so on footpaths and tracks which can be walked or cycled (mountain bike only though). I have waymarked a few parking points with the first one being the suggested starting point (at N 51° 45.157' W 2° 42.936'), BUT YOU CAN START ANYWHERE - probably best to do the caches in chronological order though as it makes a sensible route but you DO NOT need to start at number 1.

Episode 1 - A television programme offers to interview Father Ted, who goes to extreme lengths to ensure the other members of the clergy on the island do not interrupt his moment in the spotlight. Meanwhile Craggy Island hosts Fun Land, a fun fair to which Dougal is desperate to go. Ted takes the film crew to the fair, leading to a massive mess.
