Greers Ferry Lake is a favorite water playground nestled in the foothills of the Ozarks in north central Arkansas. This 40,000-acre masterpiece pleases water enthusiasts of all types. The lake is surrounded by an abundance of rock outcropping, trees, and wildlife making it a leading tourist destination.
After a couple of trips back to GFL in search of some recently placed caches, I thought I would add a few more to hopefully inspire more folks come and enjoy this lake.
Scout Island was actually the location that I certified my daughter to SCUBA dive serveral years ago.
Of course you will need a watercraft of some sort, or be a GOOD swimmer.
Bring a lunch and enjoy the area.
