I have driven past this lovely old cemetery many many times but today I stopped to explore.
This cemetery was established in 1937 by the Salmo Doukhobor Society, and is in active use today. There are 173 internments situated east west as is the custom for Doukhobors. Many graves show birth dates going back into the late 1800s, Approximately 50 graves are unmarked.
To find this cache there is no need to enter the cemetery, but you are welcome to explore if you are interested.
