Our daughter lives in Austin, TX, a fast-growing high-tech area. Austin is also home to the largest urban bat population in the world - 1.5 million bats that emerge every night from their home under Congress Bridge. They fly over Lady Bird Lake and are simply a wonderful sight to see!
We decided to place a cache in honor of Austin and the bats. It is placed along the Harmony Trail section connector to the Rachel Carson Trail. The cache is hidden in a small shoe box sized metal box about 70 feet or so south of the trail. Happy caching.
