Geocache Description:

This is a multifaceted event and my first event. This event will take place from 12:30. to 1:30 p.m. This is one of the best times of year to go hiking and it is the perfect place for it. The hiking trail here follows along the creek on one side and goes past several local places of interest, Indian Rock or the Hippy Bridge. Both are popular spots for hikers.

You will also have an opportunity to sample some pumpkin pie, socialize, and check out the brand new ADA trail that has been placed on the NCT. This may also be your last look of the closed Watts Mill Bridge before they dissemble it and send it to Michigan to have it rebuilt into a pedestrian bridge. I will also have some swag to give away for people who attend.

I will be archiving many of my SGL caches to make way for more North Country trail caches after the event. This is an opportunity to find some before they go away.

I will be set up near the bridge that way you may park on either side of the bridge to find GZ. If interested in handicapped accessibility you will need to approach ground zero from Watts Mill Road via 251. Approach from Watts Mill via Cannelton Road is not handicap friendly.
