Geocache Description:

Jovita's garden.

Mountain house of the XVIII century, with a rectangular floor plan and two heights, to which an attic has been added. It is built in masonry.
Since the late seventeenth century and during the eighteenth century, the construction typology of baroque mansions in popular mountain architecture has been imposed in Cantabria, halfway between the flat houses and the palaces. The appearance and boom of these mansions coincides with an important economic growth in the region thanks to the arrival of corn. They were houses occupied by noble families.

The building has a small garden used as a meeting place for neighbors.
