There is an uphill turn out right at the cache, but still watch carefully as you turn off of or on to the highway here. You will have to scramble up 10 to 15 foot incline to get to the plateau that the cache sits on. It is in among the large boulders that have slid down the hill side. Keep in mind that buzz worms and other nasty creatures can call places like this home so use care where you put paws. I saw no evidence of critters when I set the cache but that can change over night.
The cache is under a SPOFR, a new acronym for Suspicious Pile Of Flaked Rock. The Thomas fire actually got hot enough right here that the rocks cracked, split and flaked. Please return the cache as you found it, totally covering the remains, er uh, I mean cache container.
Please use extreme caution when removing the micro portion of the cache from the yucky portion of the cache
Remain calm when finding this one. Use my old mantra from my time in the insane asylum, " It's not real, it's not real !"
