For Your Cache Only (1981) - A British spy boat sinks with a sophisticated automatic targeting system - that sounds like it could also be used to hunt geocaches... cool! This piques Bond’s interest, since he is struggling to maintain his current caching streak. There is a lot of complicated stuff going on with Italians and Greeks, and Bond gets captured and escapes at least twice. In the meantime, the Russians (it’s always them, isn’t it) are trying to find the automatic targeting system, so Bond reluctantly has to destroy it. He’ll have to keep caching using a compass and maps, until GPS is available in about 19 years’ time.
