NO 4 ON jACKS WALK. (series not in geographical order) This cache is on a quiet path that links the Mill Dam walks with Oriel Rd. It runs behind Kirkcaldy Tennis Club and can be accessed on foot from Boglily road near the Fishery or from Dronachy Rd. DO NOT GO THROUGH THE TENNIS CLUB OR ATTEMPT TO PARK ON BOGLILY ROAD.. I suggest parking in the Beveridge Park car park and taking in the other caches in the area. This path can be muddy at times and is very popular with dog walkers.
This cache is hidden at the start of a rough circular path on the north bank of Raith Lake. There are lots of squirrels and deer here and if youre quiet and very lucky - kingfisher and otters. The cache is hidden on top of a wee hillock to the right of the path if your facing towards the lake. There is often a very strong smell of foxes here and the ground is possibly a playground in the spring for young foxes. Jack the collie loves a good sniff around here with his hackles up. Please hide this cache away again as best as you can and if you can try and disguise the container with leaves as I have done this would hopefully prolong the life of this cache. This area does not have a good record for caches lasting long.
