First thing first,
what is Scuba diving?
Scuba diving is a sort of diving where you dive underwater using a breathing apparatus (scuba) to breath underwater and is independent of surface supply. This enables the scuba diver to move around more freely in the water. Scuba divers carry their own source of breathing gas to allow them to stay under water for extended periods of time before they must resurface to either stop their dive or to continue diving.
why do people do Scuba diving?
People do Scuba diving for recreational purposes (exploring the ocean to see her beauty, diving inland in dedicated deep water pits where you can see underwater helicopters etc), technical diving purposes (more advanced than recreational diving, for example during deep diving, a technical dive will go beyond 40m depth, etc), public safety diving purposes (diving done by law enforcement agencies, the fire department, search and rescue etc, they go into dangerous conditions to either safe someone or retrieve a person's body) and scientific diving purposes (divers who are mostly scientist and dive to study phenomenas in their natural habitat or to do scientic experiments under water).
what do you need to do Scuba diving?
First of all, you need to go for training in order to qualify as a scuba diver for the different levels available (Scuba diver/Open Water diver/Advanced diver/Rescue diver etc). During the training you will be either provided with the following required equipment to dive or you need to buy them:
A breathing apparatus (scuba), swimming fins, dive boots, air tank, mask and snorkel, regulator, pressure gauge, weight belt, diving gloves , wet/dry suit, etc. See insert below

why this Cache listing?
This cache is dedicated to Scubie999
Scubie999 (Carlo Henrico) and I started caching together in 2015. We both were amazed that we just live around the corner from each other and have actually known each other for many years (quite a story to tell! But for another day (ask me in person).
Scubie is an avid geocacher which has a fond love for technical caches (placing and finding them), working out puzzle caches (also finding and placing them) and enjoying doing high terrain rated caches where I do all the hard work of climbing etc :P
