Small camo'd cache on the Fourteen Mile Slough Pedestrian/Bicycle Path.
This short path connects Feather River Drive to Driftwood Place and provides a view of the Fourteen Mile Slough. Depending on the season, you may see a variety of birds and other wildlife. If you are lucky, you might spot a little red fox in the field or trees to the east of the pathway. And you are bound to see people fishing. Near the north end of the path you can see the Barkleyville Dog Park. There is another cache (GC2KK2V) at the south end of the path and one in Barkleyville. A secondary path leads west off this path for those of you who desire a longer walk. A word of warning: The path is gated and is open seasonally the following times: Winter (Dec, Jan, Feb) .. 7am - 5pm Spring (Mar, Apr) .. 6am - 6pm Summer (May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep) .. 6am - 8pm Fall (Oct, Nov) .. 6am - 6pm. The best parking will be found at the south end of the path on Driftwood Place. During certain times of the day muggles may be an issue. Please be watchful.
