Geocache Description:

From the Cat n' Fiddle to Captain Kidd, Cliffwood beach has many interesting stories to tell!

Join TeamABC and your fellow Geocachers on Sunday September 30th from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 for a quick geo-gathering, bug-swap and general meet-and-greet. Local amature historian and story-teller Ericles will be on hand to share what he's learned about the area and make up stuff as he goes along.

Following the event the Matawan Historical Society will be on site to offer a real history tour of the area. There is no charge to hang out for the event or to partake of the tour after. While in the area you can also go fishing, play on the playground, try your luck at treasure-hunting with a metal detector or take your kayak out for a dip on the Whale Creek. Hope to see you there!
