There are lots of trees of many different varieties at Martin Creek Lake State Park. You can walk past elm, pine, oak, cedar, sweet gum, and others you may have seen, but this cache is hidden at one you may not have seen before - an Evil Tree!
As you make your way to the cache, be aware of the wildlife you can encounter. Deer, birds, and rabbits were seen when placing this cache, as well as lots of insects and salamanders. You never know what you will see along the trails and in the woods at Martin Creek Lake State Park.
Suggested parking is at the Amphitheater just across the street from the Trailhead.
