A Lonely Letterbox Letterbox Hybrid

This cache has been archived.

Bug Finders: With all the construction in the area, and construction up top, I’ll let this one go. Perhaps when everything is complete in a couple of years, there will be new caches in the area. Thanks to all that visited.

Geocache Description:

This Letterbox Cache is not at the Posted Coordinates

You are looking for a small twist top Peanut Butter Container. As this is a letterbox cache, it contains a stamp, that must remain in the cache container as this is a requirement for a letterbox hybrid cache.

While in the area, Milli (the BugFinding Pooch) and I decided to do a little bit of exploring.  As this is one of my favourite parks and natural areas, especially when it is dry, I am always surprised by how few people actually visit the geocaches in here.  This letterbox hybrid will likely be one of those caches very few people actually visit, as the terrain and location will be too much for most people.  Oh well, I guess this will be "A Lonely Letterbox" for only those up for a challenge.

In order to find the final, you must first visit GZ, and locate a large blue number (white outline).  Use this number, in the formulas below to determine the distance and degree, to project a waypoint to find the final location.  This Letterbox cache should be easy to spot from a distance, it is in plain view.

To find the distance for the projection = the number on the tree x 28.42858

To find the Bearing for the projection  = the number on the tree x 36.1

Good Luck, and Enjoy the Area!
