On November 8-12, 2018 thousands of geocachers will take part in a global geocaching movie experience. The 2018 GIFF reel will contain an hour of carefully selected finalist films made by geocachers, for geocachers. This is the Fourth Annual GIFF Event to be held in Russellville. So come and join us at the posted coordinates to see these films and have some geocaching fun! By attending, you will also earn a virtual souvenir from Geocaching HQ for GIFF 2018.
LOCATION: PLEASE NOTE that the location for the GIFF event has changed this year from previous years. This year’s event will be held in the office area of DP Engineering, 2nd floor of the Regions Bank building, in Russellville. To get to the event, enter the bank building through the door at the southeast corner, near the FedEx and UPS drop-off boxes. Walk straight through the foyer outside the bank lobby to a smaller foyer, where you will find the elevator. Once on the 2nd floor, you will find the DP Engineering office just around the corner from the elevator.
Popcorn will be served, and water will be available, but bring your own drink if you would like something else. Also, bring your own lunch, if you wish, although maybe we can go out afterwards and grab lunch at one of the nearby restaurants.
NOTES
The event starts at 10:00 AM
With the films beginning at approximately 10:30 AM.
The films have been described as being family friendly.
The films will run approximately one hour.
The event is over at 12:00 PM.
