What makes The Dalles a special place to me are the interesting rock formations that can be found throughout the city. The rocks at this location remind me of the hoodoo formations that can be found throughout Utah. A hoodoo is a tall thin rock formation that were carved out by water, weather, and time. Indian tribes believed that spirits could shape shift and transform themselves into these "hoodoos." Room for swag. Pens provided. Please enjoy the view, rocks, and replace cache as found.
