Geocache Description:

This geocache is a LETTERBOX HYBRID. The stamp and ink pad ARE NOT SWAG, and must remain with the cache. The cache is large enough for small SWAG items, and small trackables. Please put the stamp and inkpad back, zip the baggies tightly, and replace it exactly as you found it, for the next geocacher's enjoyment.

Indian RiverSide Park (IRSP) is one of the absolute best family destinations in the area. IRSP is a 63 acre park that sits along the Indian River lagoon.  Park amenities include  a ¾ mile walking path and mangrove boardwalk, 780 foot  fishing pier, a splash pad for the kids (our favorite activity when we're not catching virtual creatures lurking everywhere), a beach, 4 picnic pavilions, beautiful gardens including a butterfly garden, meandering sidewalks for jogging or leasurely strolls, and open grass fields. IRSP is also home to the Treasure Coast Children's Museum and U.S. Sailing Center and is very dog friendly.

There is also The Mansion at Tuckahoe. The Mansion at Tuckahoe, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005, sits atop Mt. Elizabeth, which was also listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. Together, The Mansion and Mount Elizabeth create one of the most historically significant sites in Florida. Tuckahoe was built in 1938 as the home of Willaford Ransom Leach and his popular soft drink heiress wife Anne Winship (Bates) Leach. It later became the St. Joseph College of Florida, and then the Florida Institute of Technology. Now it is used for weddings, parties, concerts, and more.

Another point of interest is the Historic Captain Henry Sewall’s Home. Capt. Henry E. Sewall was a local pioneer and developer, and later the post master of Sewell's Point, where he originally built the house in 1889. In 1913, the house was moved by barge to a waterfront lot on what is now Old St. Lucie Boulevard in Stuart, where it stood until 2007. It was then that it was moved here to the park.

This park offers something for everyone, and even local cachers hold events here often, and since there was room for one more cache, here you go. This one should be relatively easy, just off the beaten path at the north enterence to the park.
