How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

This is a LETTERBOX HYBRID geocache. Letterboxing is a precursor of geocaching, using compass bearings or other clues to lead the seeker to the letterbox. The cache contains a logbook and a stamp. If you wish, you may stamp your personal journal with the rubber stamp in the letterbox (cache); then you may stamp the logbook with your personal stamp if you have one - if you don't have a stamp, just sign the logbook. But, please be sure to leave the stamp, logbook, and inkpad in the container.

Enjoy a night time stroll along a trail beside the lake and log a nite/letterbox hybrid cache.  Parking coordinates are provided and then you take a short walk to the posted coords for the trailhead to start your adventure.  The posted coordinates will be your starting point to begin looking for the glowing markers that you will need to follow to reach the final cache location.  Follow the direction indicated by single markers.  Change direction indicated when you see 2 markers together.  The final is marked with a "X" marker. Final cache container is an medium container.  Please replace urban camo so the cache is not seen by non-geocachers.

As with all of my new caches, there is a trackable for the FTF to pick and move along.  Safe caching!
