I love Naranja Park, don't you? The city has been adding some great features lately, but you won't enjoy any of them on this short two-stage multi. Depending on where you park, it could be a 10 yard or .4 mile walk to the first stage - you choose. There you will receive directions to the final stage, but no coordinates. HEY, BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!! When you find the second stage container, the fun really begins! You will be presented with a puzzle box challenge that requires only one step to open. Remember, you must sign the log to claim the find. The hint really spoils the fun, so use it only if you get so frustrated you want to break the container on a rock. I gave this puzzle the Pooh Pooh test and even she couldn't open it.
Since Geocaching.com guidelines require GPS navigation to the cache, use the following as a backup to the recording: Once you get to the object in the recording, go 27 feet on a mag heading of 272 degrees to reach the cache.
Always bring water, wear sun screen, and watch out for dangerous critters. The park is open 6am to 10pm daily.
