La punta Fontanafredda (2513 m) si trova a poca distanza dal Santuario di Clavalitè sul percorso che porta alla Punta Falinére (2763m)
Da Cheneil sono possibili due percorsi:
Dal parcheggio sotto Cheneil (la Barmaz) si sale con sentiero al Villaggio di Cheneil (per i pigri con ascensore a cremagliera). Vicino all'Albergo Panorama al Bich parte il sentiero che sale in diagonale fra i larici. In prossimità del torrente a quota m. 2248 (0.40) si va a dx sul sentiero 31. Il percorso guadagna quota all'interno di un impluvio, mai faticoso, e raggiunte la dorsale all'altezza del colle di Fontana Freida 2472 m. Dal colle si raggiunge la punta svoltando a destra.
Il secondo itinerario prevede da Cheneil l'imbocco del sentiero 107 in direzione di Chamois (altri cache sono presenti in questo tratto di sentiero) fino al Col di Chamois, da questo punto si imbocca il sentiero 31 che porta alla Punta Fontanafredda.
Il dislivello complessivo è di circa 500 metri e non presenta difficoltà (difficoltà E escursionisti)
Il percorso può essere fatto anche in inverno con le ciaspole

The Punta Fontanafredda (2513 m) is not far from the Sanctuary of Clavalitè on the path that leads to Punta Falinére (2763m)
Two routes are possible from Cheneil:
From the car park under Cheneil (la Barmaz) go up the path to the Village of Cheneil (for the lazy ones with a rack lift). Near the Hotel Panorama al Bich the path climbs diagonally across the larches. Near the stream at an altitude of m. 2248 (0.40) go to the right on the path 31. The path gains altitude within an impluvium, never tiring, and reached the ridge at the height of Fontana di Freida 2472 m. From the pass you reach the tip turning right.
The second itinerary foresees from Cheneil the entrance of the path 107 in the direction of Chamois (other caches are present in this part of the path) up to the Col di Chamois, from this point you take the path 31 that leads to the Punta Fontanafredda.
The overall difference in altitude is about 500 meters and does not present difficulties (difficulty and hikers)
