Geocache Description:

Great open space site with well cleared trails. Parking lot is at the site of the former Palestine one room school house. The land was sold when Eleanor Mayer's estate sold and it was purchased by Greg Carnrick who worked with the town and Newtown Forrest Association to preserve 60+ acres for open space. Easy hike to HUGE stone which is the clue to the location. Placed by Cub Scouts Den 2 of Pack 270 from Middle Gate Elementary.
