What better way to blow away those November blues than with a geocaching barbecue!
This year we'll be BBQing at Marbury Country Park for a change, where we will have an area set aside for our fun and games. The event will last from 12pm to 2.30pm.
In previous years we have held banger and burger BBQ events, but in these times of austerity we thought we'd save you some money. Why waste your wages on rare-breed crocodile & sage sausages, or spend your savings on gourmet venison & organic blue cheese burgers when there is so much free food just lying about on the roads? Simply get out your shovel and scrape up a squirrel, fox, badger, pheasant, rabbit, or hedgehog... or for the more adventurous, why not try barbecuing a crow, mole or weasel!
Please bring your own barbecue and roadkill. If you don't have a BBQ I'm sure you'll be able to find a space on someone else's. And if you're feeling affluent you can even bring normal sausages and burgers... we promise we won't turn you away.
There'll be lots of roadkill-themed games for you to enjoy, and if you're lucky there may even be a few caches going live.
Please note that there is a small charge for using the car park at Marbury.
