The 10th October is Public Bath Day, because the number 1010 can be pronounced “sento”, the Japanese word for the public bath. To celebrate this day, this cache has been hidden.
There are nine public baths in Chuo Ward, and three of the nine public baths are publicly funded baths established by Chuo Ward.
There is a publicly funded bath in Irifune. It was opened by Chuo Ward in 1990, with borrowing the underground of a private building built on the site of an abandoned bathhouse. On the wall of the bathroom, a ceramic plate burned with an ukiyo-e print “View of Tsukudajima Island from Eitaibashi Bridge” (Utagawa Kunimasa IV, August 1875) is decorated.
A cache is hidden near the public bath. Please bring your own pen.

10月10日は銭湯の日です。この日を記念し、キャッシュを設置しました。
中央区には9つの公衆浴場があり、そのうちの3つは、中央区が開設した公設浴場です。
入船にも公設浴場があり、廃業した浴場の跡地に建った民間ビルの地下を中央区が借り上げて、平成2年（1990年）に開設されました。浴室の壁には、4代目歌川国政が永代橋から佃島を望む風景を浮世絵にした「新規造掛永代橋往来繁華佃海沖遠望之図」（明治8年8月）を陶板に焼付けた絵が飾られています。
この銭湯の近くにキャッシュを設置しました。キャッシュにはペンが入っていませんのでお持ちください。
