I had to put a cache here as this spot has so much meaning to me. This is #1 for the
My Hometown series. In this series I’ll be placing caches in locations that have meaning to me and lots of local areas that you may not know exsist. I love this area so much I only moved a whopping 15 mins away.
This is where I spent most of my summers growing up,
At a very young age this is were I learned to fish, we also started jumping off the pier in our life jackets . As a teen we would spend the days fishing and having our lunch and waiting for a boat to go by so we could jump in and ride the waves. We also did a lot of swimming back and forth from one side of the pier to the other. We also enjoyed a lot of boat rides here.
In the winter we would walk down and play pier hockey with all the kids from our street.
When ice fishing season started we all sat on the edge of the pier and would watch the fishermen head out on the ice.
In the fall we would play ball hockey in the crisp air with all the colourful leaves around us.
This is one of my favourite places that has so many memories. I just had to find a spot to put a cache. Hope you enjoy it.
