Geocache Description:

A walk taking you round Rough Wood Chase Local Nature Reserve which is linked together by the Wyrley and Essington Canal.

The route follows the newly marked nature trail indicated by RED arrows, the paths aren’t muddy most are manmade but the Wood Farm and Bentley Haye sections are grass paths which can be quite wet.

The route can be done on bike without any problem. A great area for dog walking (Sadie walks the area every day), with no stiles, and only four roads to cross

This cache shows parking for the whole series, you can park on the road by all sections but the aim is to walk the series in one go so I’m not publishing these co ords.

Do not park by number 07 as the barrier is locked. The Car Park is a no go area at school run times, the gates are closed every night at dusk but parking by the school field is no problem.

The series consists of 29 caches of which 5 are multi’s and 1 Mystery cache (GC7ZHNF) .

Don’t forget the other two caches in the area “Big Ben challenge” at the time of publishing it’s up to 46 favourite and is bound to get you thinking. (GC1QX9W)

DON'T FORGET YOUR TWEEZERS.
