My forth year to the day I started Geochaching
Another year past of eventful caching and time to put out a cache to celebrate this event and add to my other Year to the day caches see " A Year to the Day " GC655XQ & " A Second Year to the Day" GC6VMTX, " A Third Year to the Day " GC7DNJK
I chose this place as I remember that it was my first CACHE FIND when I was introduced to this crazy pastime, my Geoson Waffle had phoned me to bring him a pen and meet him at a location and he would explain when I got there as to what he was doing, he had just recently started (Late September 2014) in finding caches and now his pen wasn't working
So when I turned up I helped him search for something not knowing what it was ? eventually we found the item by MATT232323 a small tube but not in a good condition, he signed the very damp log and replaced it back, the very next day I went out and bought myself a smart phone so I could download the App. (only ever used a basic mobile before !!!!) and that was that I WAS HOOKED so much so that I came to this place the day after to find my first cache in a crack in the wall
In the last year I attended my second Piratemania Event and my third Mega Event in Yorkshire also reaching my 2848 finds (trying to get 3000 by this time didn't quite make it) I have been able to cache outside the UK and found caches in Spain this year while on holiday, I have now 82 caches published and have 26 planned to place along the A38 from Worcester to Tewkesbury where I travel to work on a regular basis. So here's looking for another exciting year ahead
This Cache
Having checked the wall to where I first found the cache I noticed that it has been re-pointed and no cracks to place it in, so have relocated to a bit further away (I placed one on the day and wanted to replace the log for a better one, only to find someone had pulled it out of its hiding place and threw it on the floor) if you look at the top of the wall you will see metal points and that every so often it drops down a level, from the corner lamppost two drops down you will find the cache, you will need a pen/pencil and possibly tweezers
Please place back carefully as so it is not on show and doesn't fall down please note gps isn't good here tried many times but kept pointing to garden I can confirm it is in the alley between the houses
