Yellow Perch or what are commonly called just Perch are a smaller relative of the walleye and taste similar too. The problem is they also tend to be really small and in my experience wormy, so make sure they are cooked all the way through. To catch one of these you just need to sit down and throw a hook and worm in the water, they like to hang out in schools at any kind of structure.
