Prior finders of Elves in the Heights will recognize this spot as the final stage of that multicache. I decided to archive the multicache because of changed conditions, and because multicaches don't attract as many visitors as traditional caches. There is a perfectly good ammo can at this spot, where it's sat since 2002. It would be a shame to retire it, so the final of the multicache has now been repurposed as a traditional cache. You will see names in the logbook going back for years. If you never found "Elves in the Heights" and wondered where the cache was, the mystery is solved!
The park closes at 8:00 p.m., and they do lock the gate, so pay attention to the time while geocaching in this large park!
