Geocache Description:

This is a thin strip of wood which cuts across the path between Scar Road and Middlesmoor.

There is a little stream flowing through and as you pass back out of the wood either way its like a gateway either to Middlesmoor or to the upper dale... I love it!

There are lots of pheasents around as well as livestock so please take care with Dogs.

On rare occasions this wood is flushed through for shooting purposes so please head to any instructions or advice.
