The 1st Oak Ridges Guides had a planned session to learn about geocaching, both finding and hiding caches. We repaired a nearby geocache after finding it and then placed this one while on our brief night hike. This trail through suburban Oak Ridges meanders behind houses and past natural wetlands and ponds that are now being better preserved. While hiking it, I have personally seen herons, geese and ducks, a wide variety of birds (particularly red-winged blackbirds), and smaller wildlife. It's a lovely place for a stroll or bike ride year-round. It has started its journey with a few guiding-related items and some other swag: as always, please trade even or trade up.
Congratulations to CachingIn80 and Sam10Echo (your first!) on the FTF!
