Geocache Description:

The legend of the ghost of Clara Mills started in 1963 on a chilly autumn morning.A secretary of Dr. Sam Dahl was searching for a guest lecturer on the buildings first floor. As she entered the office at the north end of the building, she found that all of the windows were open and theat the room was empty. After taking a few steps into the room, however, she had a strange feeling that she was not alone. She smelled a strong odor of musty air, and noticed that it had grown strangly silent in the hall outside.

Then she say it.

She had looked up and just for what must have been a few seconds, she saw the figure of a woman standing with her back towards her at a cabinet in an inner office. She wasa reaching up into one of the drawers. The presence of a man sitting at a desk, but when the secretary turned towards the desk, no one was there.

Clara Mills taught music at Wesleyan campus for 28 years, until she was found dead in her office in April of 1940. Mills is buried in Wyuka Cemetary.
