Geocache Description:


This establishment has a unique "mission", but I'll let you find out what that is. Number 1- as soon as you park in the lot you can smell the fire burning and meat cooking. Not to mention they have a neat slow cooker out front with smoke sifting in the air showing signs of them getting ready to open. I saw that smoke rising from my drive on Rt. 7 & I had to stop by and see what it was for. Number 2- yeah I was hungry so I got a bite to eat. Did you know Vetrans can eat here for free? Well, I found out why I liked the title of this cache when I was inside the restaurant. But, if you don't have time, just ask any of the employees and they will tell you why "I pledge allegiance". Just ask why and when. I mentioned Mission BBQ because my dad is a Vietnam Vet. He is 76 now and is facing one of the biggest battles of his life. He's changed in a few ways but is still as strong as an OX. This cache I dedicate to my dad and all those who have given me the freedom to cache!
