My very first find was hidden in this parking lot. It was a dark and rainy evening, and I wasn't sure how I felt about all this sneaking around and looking for tiny boxes under lamp skirts. That was three and a half years ago as of this writing, and after almost 500 finds, I obviously got over it. Eventually that cache was archived, and I felt compelled to place my first hide here to replace it. I've also come to appreciate the multistage and puzzle caches, and I wanted my first to be fun and maybe a little challenging. The result: an orienteering course multicache. If you are not familiar with orienteering, there are plenty of resources online to get you started. Below is the map. Difficulty has been set to 3 due to extreme muggle traffic. Stealth is definitely required! Good luck and happy hunting!
UPDATE [11/19/2018]: Based on feedback from someone who has run the course, I should advise you that the format used on the map is in DD MM SS.SSS format, and if your GPS device can only handle DD MM.MMM format, then conversion will be necessary.
To continue the theme of firsts, FTF wins a tiny portrait of the first President of the United States.
Congrats, GZHunter, on being FTF!
